Wholecloth Up For Auction

Jan 25, 2013

Hello!  Hope everyone is enjoying this brisk winter weather.  It offers a special time for quilting!

You now have a rare opportunity to purchase a small Wholecloth style quilted wall hanging I designed and finished for an instructional DVD that will be released shortly.

This quilt, called “Hershey Wholecloth 3” was designed to be used as a teaching model, and it finished up beautifully. Hershey is stitched using turquoise and white threads on a solid white cotton sateen fabric and finished with a coordinating turquoise binding.  It has two layers of batting, Matilda’s Own Wool plus a top of cotton request loft.

“Hershey Wholecloth 3″ will be auctioned off to benefit my guild, the Baltimore Heritage Quilters’ Guild, at our biennial quilt show, Quilt EXPO 2013, to be held at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland on March 16-17.

All of the items offered in this auction were donated by our guild members and your support of this effort helps make future educational and charitable activities for our guild possible.  To see the other quilts for sale or auction, visit the guild website:

Meanwhile, here’s wishing you happy quilting!
